JOURNAL SURF is a searchable index. It is used to find articles on the topic you are currently teaching.
It allows for keyword searching across the Journals produced by the Ministry of Education. Once you have found the journal name and issue details, you can then borrow the journal from your DEC library, view the PDF and listen to available audio content. Journal Surf indexes : The New Zealand School Journal, Connected, Junior Journal and the School Journal Story Library
ENRICH is part of Journal Surf and provides access to 36 thematic student enrichment activities & lesson plans for curriculum levels 2, 3, and 4, with additional online content.

You have the option of searching all content or restricting it to journal items, news or Enrich resources.

Please note the title shown here "Just like everyone else" is the name of the article, which appears on pages 14-21 of the School Journal. The Journal details are the Edition and Year as listed.(Level 3, April 2012)

Complete a keyword search for either:
- The title of the article, or
- The journal name, edition and year.
The results page will show the Journal information only (as shown here)
