How to find library resources by doing a keyword search

From the library home page enter your search term.

A keyword search will look at all fields in the catalogue and is good for browsing and if you want a selection of items to choose from. Eg NZSL, cats, biography, Deaf Culture etc

As you type in your keyword term, the catalogue will offer some options, you can arrow down or click on one of the options, if that meets your needs.  Otherwise finish typing and hit enter (or the search box).

In this example, deaf culture is being typed in, and the catalogue has offered some options.  As none of these apply, continue typing and then enter or click on the search box.

If you have more details about the item you are looking for, eg you know the author or title of the book, you can search by these using the advanced search button.  This is explained in detail in the "advanced search" page.
